These environmental challenges require PG&E to transform how it designs and operates the electric system.To reduce wildfire risks and enhance safety, PG&E has implemented enhanced wildfire prevention strategies and strengthened its electrical infrastructure. A key component of this effort is the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Program, which temporarily de-energizes parts of the electric grid during extreme weather conditions to mitigate wildfire risk.The PSPS Project Management Office (PMO) manages readiness and execution across multiple workstreams, including:PSPS program design and decision-makingRegulatory compliance and reportingTraining and operational readiness for PSPS eventsEmergency Operations Center coordinationStakeholder engagement with communities and regulatorsPosition SummaryThe Strategic Analyst, Principal will support regulatory filings and strategic initiatives related to PSPS events.
