Part-Time Field Sales Representative

The role We are looking for a Part-Time Field Sales Representative to become one of the faces of Embarcadero in the Central Texas trades community. You will attend industry events, meet contractors and business owners, demonstrate our software and devices, and help turn interested companies into customers. You will work directly with the founders and help shape our early sales strategy. What you'll do Attend HVAC, roofing, electrical, construction, and small-business events. Represent Embarcadero across Austin and San Antonio. Build relationships with contractors, owners, service managers, and field teams. Find and contact prospective customers. Explain and demonstrate Embarcadero's software and devices. Follow up with prospects and help close new customers. Maintain notes on conversations, opportunities, and next steps. Share customer feedback with the founders and product team. Who we're looking for Have worked in HVAC, roofing, electrical, construction, equipment distribution, or another skilled-trades business. Have sales, estimating, customer service, account management, or business-development experience. Know how to communicate with tradespeople and business owners. Are comfortable attending events and starting conversations. Are interested in technology, AI, and startups. Are organized, dependable, and able to work independently. Can travel around Austin and periodically to San Antonio. Previous software-sales experience and a college degree are not required. Compensation and schedule $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience. Additional commission for new customer sales. Hours vary depending on business needs and will be planned in advance each week.
