This behavioral health facility is a dedicated inpatient psychiatric center providing comprehensive mental health services to the community. The facility features 99 total beds and is supported by a collaborative team including psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and psychologists, ensuring a well-rounded and supportive clinical environment.

Physician - Psychiatry - Inpatient
Job Details:

• Inpatient Psychiatrist position working 100% on site - no telehealth
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule
• One weekend per month required with weekly phone on-call responsibilities
• Average of 18 patients per day in a 99-bed facility
• Work alongside a team of 2 psychiatrists, 3 advanced practice providers plus per diem pool, and per diem psychologists
• Required to treat a broad range of disorders including anxiety, affective, personality, developmental, psychotic, substance use, and trauma-related disorders
• Must have familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy
• EMR system: Wellsky
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency) in Psychiatry required
• Active Delaware license required or willingness to obtain
• DEA and CSR/CDS required prior to start
• BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
• Permanent placement only - Locum applicants will not be considered
