Candidates must be well-spoken and confident interacting with people at all levels while remaining calm and organized at all times.What Does A Seasonal Squishable Retail Sales Lead Do?The Retail Sales Lead is a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, developing the team, and creating an exceptional experience for every Squishable fan. Responsibilities include:Supports the Store Manager in delivering a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience during the busy holiday seasonHelps lead the sales floor during peak periods, keeping the team focused on customer service and sales goalsDrives holiday sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and strong knowledge of Squishable productsSupports seasonal promotions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked sales floorHelps manage customer flow and resolves concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approachProvides day-to-day direction and support to team members and jumps in wherever needed during busy periodsSupports opening, closing, and keyholder responsibilities, as assignedQualifications1+ year of retail, customer service, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment preferredPassion for people and creating a fun, welcoming customer experienceStrong communication and organizational skills with the ability to stay positive and flexible during busy periodsTeam player who can motivate others, take initiative, and jump in wherever neededComfortable receiving and providing feedback and helping keep the team focused on shared goalsMust have flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAble to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.Must be 18 years of age or olderCompensationPay rate is $18.00 per hourBenefits & Perks:A fun, welcoming workplace where creativity and personality are encouragedCareer growth opportunities (many of our seasonal team members have the opportunity to stay with Squishable in ongoing roles!)Employee discounts (yes, even on the giant plushies)Seasonal Duration: November 2026 through early January 2027Availability Requirements: Seasonal team members must have flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as these are some of our busiest times of the year.Squishable.com, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
