We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Florida. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care, support resident wellness, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure exceptional outcomes for our residents.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the Registered Nurse (RN) and healthcare providers.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing resident assessments.

• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in providing quality resident care.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines.

• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and resident care conferences.

• Promote a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.

• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Commitment to providing compassionate, quality care.

Preferred

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, post-acute care, or long-term care setting.

• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and skilled nursing regulations.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• IV certification preferred where permitted by state regulations.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.
