Responsibilities Include: - Meet OneCHRISTUS competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. - Follow the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice to provide comprehensive nursing care. - Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social patient needs. - Administer medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for side effects. - Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered. - Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. Job Requirements: Education/Skills: - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: - Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Required: - Current BLS certification (AHA only). - Current ACLS certification (AHA only). - Current PALS certification (AHA only). - Current TNCC certification required. - RN License in the state of TX or compact. Position Requirements: - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. - Be precepted by a designated trained staff member and complete onboarding requirements. - New licensed RNs may participate in a residency program or specific orientation. - Complete all annual competency verification requirements.
