Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit setting, focusing on intermediate and progressive care patient populations
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Float to designated units as operationally needed to care for the same patient population
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
• Work at least every other holiday as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open background case findings or license hits; all required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience
• 18 months of experience within a single location preferred
