Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM.

This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered Nurse responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with the organization's mission, vision, and values. The role involves assessing and reassessing patients in various age groups, formulating teaching plans based on identified learning needs, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments on patients, with ongoing evaluations.
• Revise care standards based on patient responses and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans daily.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management techniques and treatment options.
• Assist physicians with procedures and demonstrate technical skills as per licensure.
• Maintain clear communication with all members of the healthcare team, including Nurse Managers and physicians.
• Ensure that patient care adheres to the age-specific standards for pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
• Respect patient confidentiality and treat patients and families with dignity.
• Address psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care and manage equipment safely and responsibly.
• Document patient care according to current standards and policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with pediatric and geriatric populations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stress and function flexibly in adverse situations.
