About the Role:

As an LVN Charge Nurse with Las Colinas of Westover Hills, you will serve as a leader on our care team, providing exceptional care and support to our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Arriving on time for shifts and completing tasks assigned by the previous shift charge nurse

• Reviewing 24-hour reports to ensure continuity of care

• Performing narcotic counts and verifying all narcotic count sheets

• Conducting room rounds with off-going nurses and CNA's

• Reviewing lab follow-ups, diagnostic follow-ups, and pending orders

• Administering medications, G-tubes, Coumadin, PRN medications, Nebulizer treatments, and skin treatments as needed

• Completing monthly summaries and skin assessments

• Ensuring CNA documentation is completed before the end of shift

• Managing MDS charting, Skilled charting, changes in condition, and new orders or treatments for specific residents

• Completing incident reports and lab inquiries
