Travel Medical-Surgical/Telemetry RN - $2,700 per week

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Memphis, Tennessee.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric Med Surg/Telemetry patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and titratable Heparin per protocol.
• Care for cardiac patients including CHF, AMI, post-cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placements, and ablations.
• Start and maintain IV lines.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Float to like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius if needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License or Compact RN License.
• BLS Certification (ACLS and NIHSS preferred/required by facility profile).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience .
• Previous travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers not accepted unless they have 3+ years of recent specialty experience).
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Large acute care hospital experience required.
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac patients, and IV therapy.
• Must live 100+ miles from the facility (strict local radius rule).
• Weekend and on-call availability as required.
