Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech is responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. They work under the supervision of radiologists and must adhere to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Operate CT imaging equipment with precision and ensure high-quality images.
Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety guidelines and properly positioning patients.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care.
Adhere to infection control practices and department policies.

Qualifications:

Hold ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of recent CT imaging experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in IV skills relevant to imaging procedures.
Possess strong knowledge of common diagnoses and patient types across all age groups.
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Maintain current state licensure and certifications as required.
