Service Manager (BAS Controls) – New Jersey – $100K–$165K + Bonus – Data Center & Building Automation About the Opportunity: A well-established Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a skilled Service Manager (BAS Controls) to oversee service operations across New Jersey. This role is responsible for leading the BAS service team, supporting clients throughout mission‑critical, commercial, and institutional environments. Position Details: Title: Service Manager (BAS Controls) Location: New Jersey (statewide coverage) Compensation: $100K–$165K (DOE) + ~20% Annual Bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Tele‑Doctors, HSA & FSA Options Retirement: 401K with Company Match Perks: Company Laptop, Company Cell Phone or Monthly Allowance Time Off: Vacation, Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays Responsibilities: Manage daily operations for the BAS field service team across multiple project sites. Coordinate with clients, PMs, and internal teams to ensure timely service resolutions. Assign and schedule field technicians to optimize response times and workload distribution. Monitor service requests, dispatch activities, reporting metrics, and documentation accuracy. Serve as the escalation point for complex or high‑priority service issues. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to support team growth and performance. Implement standardized processes and best practices to enhance service efficiency. Support BAS startup, functional testing, and commissioning phases. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues at the controller, network, and system‑integration level. Modify wire sheet logic, sequences, and programming as required. Verify control sequences and commission system functionality on completed projects. Provide user training on BAS operations, system navigation, and maintenance practices. Ideal Candidate: Experience leading BAS or HVAC service operations in a commercial or mission‑critical environment. Strong technical skills in BAS programming, integration, and field troubleshooting. Demonstrated leadership ability with experience developing service teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Experience supporting data centers or mission‑critical facilities is preferred. What’s Offered: Base salary of $100K–$165K DOE + ~20% bonus potential.
