Position: Full-Time Pharmacy Technician

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends!)

Compensation: $21.00 – $24.00 / hour

Setting: Fast-paced, high-volume mail-order pharmacy operations

About the Role

We are seeking an efficient, detail-driven Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic mail-order team. In this role, you will play a key part in daily prescription fulfillment, ensuring top-quality medication prep and packaging for pet health and veterinary care orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Fulfillment & Dispensing: Safely convert bulk inventory into single-dose packaging, count medications accurately to regulatory standards, and pick/label outbound orders for final pharmacist review.
• Veterinary Product Assembly: Package essential pet care preventatives (flea, tick, and heartworm medications) into single-unit compliance packages requiring a technician license.
• Workflow Rotation & Adaptability: Flexibly transition between different operational stations throughout the day based on volume demands and shipping targets.
• Logistics & Inventory Support: Assist with shipping out completed orders, basic receiving tasks, routine workstation restocking, and scheduled inventory audits.
• Quality & Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workstation, active participation in departmental recycling, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Candidate Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a pharmacy setting.
• Licensure: Valid Pharmacy Technician license required for key production duties.
• Precision & Focus: Outstanding accuracy with repetitive, detail-heavy tasks over long periods.
• Adaptability: Exceptional ability to pause and resume tasks seamlessly amidst interruptions and evolving priority shifts.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Pet-Friendly Workspace: Dogs are present in the work facility.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing on hard/pressurized concrete flooring for extended durations.
• Lifting & Mobility: Ability to repeatedly lift and shelf items weighing up to 50 lbs, along with periodic bending, stooping, and stretching.
