In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: - Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. -Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required. What You'll Do: • Care for critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, intracranial hemorrhage, spinal cord injuries, and post-neurosurgical patients. • Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilators, titratable drips, intracranial pressure monitoring, and other advanced critical care interventions. • Perform detailed neurological assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. • Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team.
