Summary The Recreation Supervisor will be responsible for creating personalized guest interactions, ensure the accuracy of the bike/golf cart rental process, be competent in all budgetary financials, oversee arrival and departure of all guest equipment, coach Associates, and maintain proper record keeping. Essential Functions Responsible for scheduling associates Overseeing department cleanliness and department organization Ensuring all standards are met Competent handling guest complaints in a professional manner. This person will be able to train Associates. They will be a primary resource regarding local weather conditions, incoming and outgoing tides, leisure land and water activities, and bike and golf cart rentals. Qualifications College Degree or educational equivalent preferred 2 years of managerial experience Luxury hospitality experience is a plus Strong passion for customer service; experience handling and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner Must be organized Strong verbal communication skills-ability to communicate effectively with guests and vendors Have a vast array of knowledge about recreational activities applicable to the area. Physical Requirements Work tasks are performed indoors and outdoors. There is no effective protection from weather. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs frequently.
