BJC Medical Group has a Neurology opportunity to join BJC Medical Group Neurology at Belleville. This growing group has an established team of 3 Neurologists and 2 Neurology APPs and is located just minutes from Downtown St. Louis.

We offer $30,000 signing bonus, a relocation package, $2K Monthly Residency and Fellowship Stipened, 2 year income guarantee starting at $340K- $350K and much more.

Practice Highlights:

• 36 clinical hours per week
• Outpatient only with support of Neuro-Hospitalist team for inpatients
• Option for some inpatient if preferred - but not required
• Join an existing growing practice
• See a full-scope practice of Neurology
• Procedures available, but not required

Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within the practicing Specialty to the best of physicians ability through direct patient care and spend additional time as necessary to perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations and inbasket management, conducting patient-specific education and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

• Manages the medical care of patient panel by providing or otherwise arranging for inpatient hospital care of physicians patients, either through regular hospital rounds, making arrangements with one or more hospitalist(s) or other qualified physician to provide coverage for physicians hospitalized patients consistent with Medical Staff requirements.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at the clinic location(s) designated by BJC and any other BJC clinical outreach location to which physician may be assigned as patient care demands.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in the patients medical record as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
• Provides or arranges for call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in a manner acceptable to BJC and in accordance with Medical Staff bylaws, while observing and following all BJC policies and procedures and all applicable legal, ethical and professional standards.
• Collaborates and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff or any care team member assigned in the care of physicians patient panel.
• BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
