Security & Brigade Coordinator

AbbVie seeks a Security & Brigade Coordinator to ensure compliance with global security standards and emergency response protocols across facilities in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. The role encompasses security program implementation, personnel access control, incident investigation, and fire brigade training oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage for east and west sites; manage personnel and visitor clearances and access control
• Investigate security-related incidents and develop continuous improvement measurement systems
• Develop, implement, and deliver security and fire brigade training programs to maintain compliance
• Support internal audits and external regulatory inspections; coordinate specialized security training
• Evaluate operational changes for security impacts and lead implementation of security projects

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent
• Five years security officer experience with access control and management systems expertise
• Two years experience with federal regulatory inspections
• Technical proficiency conducting security investigations in manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical and documentation review skills
• Knowledge of security regulations and regulatory impact assessment
