In short, We Enable Possibility.The PositionArch Re Fac’s Senior Underwriters are members of a team spanning the United States, Canada and Europe focused on developing strong, mutually beneficial business relationships with primary insurance company underwriters and brokers. This position will require some domestic travel, approximately 15%.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Underwriters are responsible for developing client relationships and submission flow, as well as underwriting and negotiating the transactions. Required Skills15-20 years property insurer or reinsurer underwriting experienceDesired SkillsProven ability to work as part of a teamDemonstrated customer-service focus coupled with strong negotiation skillsStrong Property Underwriting Acumen including an understanding of coverage, risk hazards and policy formsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Sound Computer/Technology skillsDesire for continued learningEducationBachelor’s degree (ideally with a degree/major in Risk Management, Economics, or Business) or equivalent training requiredAdditional industry-specific study and designations (such as CPCU, ARe) a plus#LI-JD1#LI-HybridFor individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.$200,000 - $271,000/yearTotal individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.
