Assistant District ManagerWe are seeking a Part-Time Assistant District Manager for our Newspaper Distribution Center in Naples, Florida. We put a premium on personal integrity, teamwork, accountability, problem solving, a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and winning.Responsibilities:Prepares nightly paperwork and organizes the distribution center before product and carriers arriveHelps offload and load pallets from tractor trailers and box trucks using electronic pallet jacksDistributes newspapers within the distribution centerAssists the manager in handling paperwork and updating address database information including route sequencing and navigationAssist in keeping workplace, inside and outside cleanPerforms other job duties as neededPreferred Requirements:Newspaper Industry KnowledgeStrong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust work well with others and be team oriented in nature* Current valid driver's license, access to a vehicle and good driving history required*Gannett Co., Inc. is a proud equal opportunity employer committed to building and maintaining a diverse workforce.
