Seeking a Staff Accountant in Ottawa Lake MI. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role is onsite and pay up to $27/hr.

Responsibilities include:
Processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), Generating and sending billing statements
Handling deposits
Assisting with month-end close activities.
This role also performs other duties as assigned to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.

Must meet the following criteria:
Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.• At least 2 years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and deposit processing.
• Working knowledge of journal entries and general ledger activities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to process financial information accurately.
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency with standard accounting systems and spreadsheet tools.
