Job Title: Helicopter Mechanic - Airframe and Powerplant license with a minimum of two years of rotary-wing experience required

Job Description

As a UH-60/S-70 helicopter mechanic, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on the company's fleet of rotary-wing aircraft operating under FAA Part 133 and 137. Your role supports safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations across utility, firefighting, and agriculture activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining aircraft readiness through disciplined maintenance execution, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform progressive, phase, isochronal, hourly, calendar, and special inspections.
• Troubleshoot, repair, remove, install, rig, and function check aircraft systems and components.
• Maintain engines, transmissions, rotor systems, drive systems, and mechanical flight controls.
• Perform servicing, lubrication, corrosion control, and functional checks.
• Accurately document all maintenance actions using electronic maintenance tracking systems.
• Support aircraft recovery, AOG response, and field maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Essential Skills

• A&P license
• 2+ years Blackhawk maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals and technical data
• Must have tools - basic field kit/hand tools

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Highly preferred: 15T UH 60 Utility Helicopter Repairer training (Army)

Work Environment

The work is primarily based at hangars and offices at McMinnville Airport, located across the street from the Evergreen Air Museum. While day trips into the field are common, you will usually return to the facility the same day. Some rotations into the field may last up to 2 weeks, particularly during fire base operations. The standard work hours are from 0700 to 1530, with some flexibility required for field work and travel.

This is a Permanent position based out of McMinnville, OR.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $135000.00/yr.

eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Also has health/vision/dental, 401k, etc.

This is a fully onsite position in McMinnville,OR.

This position is anticipated to close on Aug 21, 2026.
