As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support access-related needs. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports. Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, or policy violations while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
