About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their legal affairs team. The successful candidate will serve as a senior legal advisor and operational leader, providing strategic legal counsel on a wide range of complex matters, with a focus on employment law, litigation management, commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and corporate operations. This role involves managing the organization's litigation portfolio, overseeing outside counsel, and advising executive and operational leadership on legal issues. The Associate General Counsel will also be responsible for supervising the Privacy Officer & Corporate Counsel, supporting the legal function's management, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in partnership with various departments. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, an active license to practice law, and a minimum of 7 years' legal experience, with a preference for those with over 10 years. The role requires significant experience in employment law and litigation management, as well as a background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex legal matters, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance. Experience in supporting healthcare, home care, or other regulated industries is also essential. The position demands a professional with strong communication, analytical, and supervisory skills, who can work effectively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
