Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, and deliver orders promptly to guests' tables. Describe menu items, answer questions, and make recommendations to enhance guests' dining experiences. Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, to assist guests with dietary restrictions or preferences. Collaborate effectively with the kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth and timely service. Monitor guests' dining experiences, addressing any issues promptly and ensuring complete satisfaction. Anticipate guests' needs and proactively provide assistance and personalized attention. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following proper procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining tables, service stations, and side stations. Collaborate with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment. Assist in training new servers and provide guidance to ensure consistent service standards. Uphold all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a server in a high-volume, upscale restaurant is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine desire to create outstanding guest experiences. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, with the ability to support and assist colleagues. Self-starter with a proactive attitude, demonstrating the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to uphold the restaurant's standards of excellence. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's schedule.
