"No prior experience is required for this position; however, candidates with previous cooking experience will be offered a higher salary based on their expertise."

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to our established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food safety and food handling regulations are strictly followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
• Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed.
• Utilize kitchen tools and equipment safely, including knives and ovens.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
• Help train new kitchen staff in pizza preparation techniques and food safety practices.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in pizza or fine dining establishments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures related to pizza making.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
• Proficiency in using kitchen equipment are highly desirable.
