A nationally licensed specialty pharmacy in Pittsburgh is seeking a staff pharmacist for a combined dispensing and clinical role. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on complex specialty therapies, prescription verification, and patient counseling. Pharmacists work as clinical professionals supporting both fulfillment and quality initiatives.

Schedule: Full time, onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Compensation: $114,000 - $125,000 Per Year

What You'll Do

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and regulatory compliance, performing final quality assurance checks as part of the fulfillment workflow.
• Provide patient counseling on specialty therapies, applying clinical judgment to complex medication regimens.
• Guide and support pharmacy technicians, helping maintain workflow and quality standards across the team.
• Support quality initiatives and step into leadership support functions as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to perform final verification and quality assurance checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Mail-order pharmacy experience
• Experience guiding or supervising pharmacy technicians
• Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives
