Position Overview

We invite a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become part of our expanding team that prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by explaining procedures with clarity and kindness
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-tier diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in ultrasound imaging

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
