Senior Manager, Federal Program Management

Job Description This manager-level position is accountable for managing and growing a team of project managers who support large complex task orders, while ensuring adherence to operational/financial metrics and operational policies. In this role, you are more than a people manager; you will apply your project management and business expertise to help guide and grow the skillsets and talent of your team. This senior manager will also provide oversight to projects within the EHRM portfolio as needed to ensure quality outcomes and high customer satisfaction. Collaborates with Portfolio Leads to forecast project management staffing needs and timelines to ensure timely delivery. With a spirit of continuous improvement, you will work to identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements and champion those efforts to the benefit of your team and the broader organization. Fostering a positive team culture is a must. Experience with a matrix management environment will be a plus and must have the ability to effectively influence decisions at varying levels of the organization. Responsibilities Ensures that operational policies are followed and that business objectives are achieved. Focus on best practices and process improvements ensuring effective execution of the operational plan while meeting corporate requirements. Plans, implements, and maintains budget for functional area. Manage supply and demand for the immediate team to ensure resources are available at the right time and the right place. Attract, onboard and retain talent. Fostering a culture of empowering employees, encouraging collaboration and open communication. Supporting career and professional growth of the team through mentoring and guidance. Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years direct line management experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to follow and reinforce operational policies. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrix management environment. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Ability to travel as needed. Salary and Benefits US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,300 – $234,600 per year. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
