890 Maple Ave. Harleysville, PA 19438 | $14-$19 per hour Hourly, Seasonal The North Penn YMCA is hiring Summer Camp Counselors for our Indian Valley Family YMCA Branch 2025 Camp Seasons at on-site and off-site camp locations. (DHS Group Supervisor & Asst. Salary $14-$19 per hour Responsibilities Provides a safe and healthy environment, both physically and mentally, to ensure the operation of a quality program Plans and implements program curriculum in a developmentally appropriate manner, meeting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of the participants Provides careful, attentive supervision of all youth; alert at all times Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship, and bring enthusiasm to every camp day Serve as a positive role model, demonstrates professional behavior and understands positive youth development approaches to the social development of participants Facilitates a program environment that invites exploration, promotes positive play, and welcomes children Maintains positive relations with parents and other staff. Models relationship‑building skills in all interactions Communicates effectively with staff and parents on a regular basis Sets up for and cleans up after all camp activities Qualifications High school diploma required or GED required, a Degree in Education or Human Services preferred. 1-2 years’ experience required.
