Data Governance Lead

Qualifications Strong understanding of data privacy and protection regulation (GDPR, CCPA, or applicable local law). Awareness of industry-specific regulatory frameworks (eg BCBS 239 for financial services). Understanding of data risk management and how governance supports enterprise risk frameworks. Stakeholder management, Master Data and Reference Data Management, Risk, Compliance and Audit Tech Skills Governance Frameworks, Proficiency in data quality tooling compatible with Databricks, SQL and understanding of MDM. Roles and Responsibilities Data Governance Framework - Design, implement and continuous improvement of the enterprise data gov. framework, policies and standards. Align data governance activities with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, BCBS 239, DORA, FCA). Data Quality Management: Define data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity, uniqueness) and associated KPIs by Implementing and overseeing the data quality rules within ETL/ELT pipelines and source systems. Metadata and Data Lineage: By managing the integration with data cataloguing and metadata management tooling (e.g. Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Informatica) any tool is okay to have. #J-18808-Ljbffr Themesoft Inc.
