Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a general medical/surgical unit that specializes in caring for patients with stroke/TIA, UTI, sepsis, pneumonia, and other conditions. The unit accommodates patients from various healthcare facilities and the surrounding community, including those in assisted living and nursing care facilities. This role accepts first-time travelers.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive medical and surgical nursing care.
Manage patient assessments and establish individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in compliance with protocols.
Utilize rapid response and code teams when necessary.
Implement isolation precautions and handle infection control measures.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Must have an active RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submission).
Minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience preferred.
Experience with various charting systems is required.
Travel experience is preferred.
