Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Neuroscience/Stroke Unit) – Tennessee

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Schedule: Weekend shifts required; experienced nurses may float after orientation

Highlights:

• 30-bed unit featuring 22 acute care beds and 8 neuro stepdown beds
• Patient ratios of 6:1 on acute care, 4:1 on neuro stepdown
• Exposure to diverse neuroscience equipment including Vapotherm, BiPAP, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
• Documentation system: Meditech EMR
• Supportive staffing model with dedicated RN charge nurse, 1-2 techs, and unit secretary
• Multiple positions available (4 openings)

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or eligible for licensure)
• BLS certification required for all positions
• ACLS certification required for neuro stepdown positions
• Strong nursing skills and time management abilities
• Stepdown experience preferred for neuro stepdown roles
• Advanced critical thinking skills
