Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Position is based in a dedicated Endoscopy unit within a hospital setting
• Primary procedures include colonoscopies and basic endoscopy procedures
• Conscious sedation procedures are performed in the main floor Endoscopy unit, while cases requiring anesthesia are performed in an area adjacent to the OR suites
• Schedule is 40 hours per week on day shifts
• Shifts are 8 hours with start times ranging from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM, varying based on weekly case mix
• Flexibility required for cases that run beyond the scheduled shift end time

Requirements

• Active VT or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Two managerial references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position — local candidates are not accepted
• Administer conscious sedation and assist with endoscopic procedures across a variety of case types
