Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working a 2-10 shift with 4 days on, 2 days off schedule .

In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents across various settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Your expertise will help ensure our patients receive personalized attention and support in their health journey. Duties

• Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs, medical documentation, and patient progress using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
• Support patients with specialized needs including dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and behavioral health conditions through compassionate engagement.
• Assist with medical procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy, medication administration, and aseptic techniques to ensure safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, providing critical support during emergencies or complex treatments.
• Maintain infection control standards and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and promote a safe environment.
• Utilize specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts and conduct patient assessments involving physiology and anatomy knowledge for optimal care delivery.

Requirements:

  Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with current licensure in the state of employment.
• Prior experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.
• Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, catheter care, and basic life support (BLS).
• Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as emergency medicine or urgent care environments.

NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
