You will initially support staff at both our Headquarters and the operations center, with the role eventually transitioning to be 100% based at the operations center down the road. In this fully on-site role, you will ensure our team has seamless access to reliable hardware and software across corporate offices, remote locations, and fast-paced warehouse environments.Challenge Yourself – The Specifics:Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, providing seamless IT support to both in-person employees and our remote workforce via ticketing systems, phone, chat, or walk-upsPerform on-site, physical troubleshooting of IT equipment on the warehouse floor, including specialized devices such as barcode scanners, rugged tablets, thermal label printers, and wireless access pointsDiagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues across ChromeOS, macOS, and Windows environmentsProvision, configure, and deploy laptops, monitors, and peripherals for new hiresManage account creation and deactivation securelyAssist senior IT members and Systems/Network Administrators in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving more complex infrastructure, network, or server issuesAdminister user accounts, permissions, and security groups within Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and various SaaS applicationsAssist with maintaining office and warehouse networks (Wi-Fi, LAN, VPNs), standard printers, and audio/visual equipment in conference roomsTrack and maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware, warehouse equipment, and software licensesCreate and maintain clear, step-by-step documentation for both the internal IT knowledge base and employee self-service guidesCommunicate updates proactively to users who have been or may be affected by system outages or bugsFollow up with users after problems have been resolved to ensure continued functionality and satisfactionUtilize help desk tracking software to log requests, monitor trends, and present recommendations or improvements for user systemsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsYou Have a Unique Combination of Skills, Talents and Mindset, Including Many of the Following:Associate's or bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferredOne (1) to three (3) years of proven experience in an IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or similar technical support roleComprehensive working knowledge and administrative experience with both macOS and WindowsComfortable performing hands-on technical work in both a standard office setting and a dynamic warehouse environmentExceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex technical jargon into plain language for non-technical users, regardless of whether they are working remotely or on the floorExperience managing a queue and logging issues in standard IT ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Jira Service Desk, ServiceNow)Familiarity with administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environmentsHands-on experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, standard office peripherals, and a willingness to learn warehouse-specific techIndustry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop AdministratorPrevious experience supporting IT operations in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing facilityExperience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., JAMF, Intune, Kandji)Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) to effectively assist senior IT staffAbility to efficiently diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.Proven ability to foster teamwork and build positive working relationships across departmentsCapable of exercising sound judgment and making timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearlyStrong ability to independently identify, seek out, and gather necessary information to solve unfamiliar problemsDemonstrated knowledge and proficiency in relevant hardware, software, and operating systemAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The Perks and Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance (100% PAID by employer), available first of the month, following the date of hireCompany-matched 401(k) Plan, at 5%, no vesting schedulePaid Time Off (PTO)Volunteer Time Off (VTO)Three Paid Flexible Holiday per yearSeven Paid HolidaysPre-Tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) - $200 annual employer contributionCareer Development Plan ProgramDiscounted Corporate Gym Membership at South Reno Athletic ClubTuition AssistanceEmployee DiscountMonthly Birthday Lunch CelebrationsOn-site Snacks and BeveragesEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramAbout Us:Visit us at
