Requirements 53 Acute Care Beds (incl. 5 acuity adj. beds ICU/PCU) EMR: Epic No required procedures Staffing Model: 12-hour shift, (7a-7p, 7p-7a) 7 on/7off schedule Days: 1 MD Nights: 1 MD Tele support for admissions & floor call Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited 4 year medical school (MD) or an accredited Osteopathic school (DO).Completion of ACGME/AOA, approved 3 year residency program in EM/FM or IM. ECFMG required for foreign medical graduates. Clinical Experience: N/A License: Active unrestricted VA Medical License and DEA w/ VA address & schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4 & 5 Board Certification: American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), and American Board of Medical Specialties(ABMS). Merit Badge: ACLS Immunizations: MMR/Varicella (2) Vaccines or titers with values indicating immunity for MMR & Varicella. TB (past 12 months)or a QuantiFERON Gold indicating immunity within three months. 2nd TB test to be completed prior to activation and privileges given. Chest x-ray required within 3 months if positive for TB or positive QuantiFERON. FLU within current season. Case Log: Case Logs for the last two years, in addition any documentation for special training for Special Procedures. CME/CEU: N/A Specific Facility Procedures: Vent management required. Malpractice Coverage: Per Loss Event $2,7M/$8,1M Annual Aggregate Additional Details: Required to be a supervising physician for NP's and PA's.
