Medical Receptionist

A busy, well-established dermatology practice in Miami Beach is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience while supporting daily office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. Job Description Welcome and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when needed Collect co-pays, balances, and payments Enter and update patient information accurately in EMR Confirm appointments and manage daily schedules Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards Qualifications 1+ year medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred Dermatology or specialty practice experience a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and EMR experience preferred Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable and punctual team player Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday Pay $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience Paid time off Paid holidays Supportive team environment Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
