Electromechanical Technician

Job Overview Job Title: Electromechanical Technician (ONSITE). Location: Santa Clara, CA. Employment Type: Contract. Pay: $28-31 per hour. Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair metrology equipment hardware and software issues. Perform complex electro‑mechanical technical functions such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting and assembly of electronics and electro‑mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment, tools and test fixtures. Test and troubleshoot system‑level and component‑level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub‑systems with minimal supervision, applying technical knowledge to solve difficult problems. Qualifications Full understanding of manufacturing and/or engineering processes and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface across departmental/functional lines. Experience troubleshooting process equipment hardware. FIB/TEM/SEM equipment knowledge helpful. Semiconductor capital equipment knowledge helpful.
