Client Partner (Texas Executive SLED Sales Leader)

This is a hybrid role with successful candidates residing near our public sector market in Austin, Texas. On behalf of ISF, we are seeking a Client Partner – a senior consultative leader to command and grow a vital portfolio across state and local government, education, and related public sector entities. Your Mission: Advise, Lead, and Grow As a Client Partner, you will be the cornerstone of our partner's public sector practice, a trusted advisor to agency leaders, and the executive force behind their most significant engagements. Your core responsibilities include: Strategic Portfolio Growth: Build and command a thriving $3-5M annual portfolio by solving our clients' most complex challenges. You will own the full lifecycle – from opportunity creation and proposal strategy to contract negotiation and successful procurement. Executive Client Leadership: Serve as a true partner and trusted advisor to public sector executives. You will cultivate deep, multi-year relationships built on integrity, foresight, and a profound understanding of their operational and political landscape. Delivery & Operational Excellence: Provide executive oversight across a portfolio of consulting engagements. In partnership with dedicated delivery teams, you will ensure quality execution, financial profitability, client satisfaction, and effective mentorship of cross‑functional teams. Market Dominance: Be the face of the firm in the market. You will expand its presence and influence through your executive network, thought leadership, and strategic engagement with industry organizations and partners, particularly within the Texas public sector ecosystem. Are You the Leader We're Looking For? We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of selling and delivering high‑value management or IT consulting services within the public sector. You are a natural connector, a strategic thinker, and possess an undeniable executive presence. Required Foundation Demonstrated success in SLED – state and local government and/or education markets. An existing, active professional network in Texas, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. A track record of leading complex pursuits from qualification through to contract execution. Proven ability to oversee project teams and ensure client success in complex environments. The ability to command a room, mentor teams, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders. Preferred Expertise A history of building and exceeding a $3-5M annual portfolio in net new SLED sales. Experience overseeing large‑scale engagements in digital transformation, cloud, data, or IT modernization. Familiarity with partner ecosystems like Microsoft, AWS, Google, or Salesforce. A deep, nuanced understanding of legislative processes, public sector procurement, and funding cycles.
