Production Assembler | Craftsmanship Associate | Frame Production Specialist

Do you enjoy hands-on work, crafting, assembling products, or working with precision? We're looking for a detail-oriented Production Assembler to help create high-quality diploma and certificate frames for universities, corporations, and organizations across the world.

This role is ideal for candidates with assembly, manufacturing, production, packaging, arts and crafts, sewing, framing, woodworking, scrapbooking, or other hands-on experience requiring attention to detail and accuracy.

• Measure, cut, and assemble custom mat boards according to detailed work orders.
• Read rulers and tape measures to ensure accurate dimensions and alignment.
• Inspect finished products for quality, appearance, and consistency.
• Follow written instructions, color guides, and customer specifications.
• Operate mat-cutting tools and production equipment safely.
• Perform assembly, packaging, and packing tasks to support production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
• Help create professionally crafted frames that celebrate achievements and preserve important documents.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Ability to accurately read a ruler and tape measure.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Experience in assembly, production, manufacturing, packaging, or other hands-on work is helpful but not required.

• Assembly or manufacturing experience.
• Arts and crafts, sewing, scrapbooking, framing, woodworking, or hobby-building experience.
• Experience using measuring tools.
• Experience meeting productivity goals in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
