About the RoleAs a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with Software Engineering leaders to source, recruit, and close talented engineers across Verkada. You’ll own the full recruiting process and work closely with hiring managers to build strong pipelines, develop effective recruiting strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience.Verkada is a fast-growing technology company, and this role is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on how we build and scale our Engineering organization.What You'll DoOwn the full-cycle recruiting process for Software Engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, process management, and closingPartner closely with Software Engineering leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruiting strategiesBuild and maintain strong pipelines through proactive sourcing and creative engagement strategies across LinkedIn and other recruiting platformsRecruit across a range of Engineering roles and levels, from ICs through Manager+Present Verkada and the Software Engineering organization to candidates and help them understand the opportunity, team, and technical challengesDrive recruiting processes forward while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining strong communication with candidates and stakeholdersTrack and document candidate communications and activity in GreenhouseDeliver a high-touch, transparent, and thoughtful candidate experienceWhat You Bring5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within a high-growth startup or technology companyExperience recruiting Software Engineering talent across areas such as backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or other technical disciplinesStrong ability to build trusted relationships and influence hiring decisions through collaborationAbility to operate independently and navigate a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLocal to the Bay Area or open to relocating to San Mateo, CAEmployee BenefitsVerkada is committed to fostering a workplace environment that prioritizes the holistic health and wellbeing of our employees and their families by offering comprehensive wellness perks, benefits, and resources. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity.
