Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay Rate: $65,000–$70,000 base salary + 2% Gross Profit Commission

Davis Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a growing independent repair shop in Dallas, Texas. Key Responsibilities

• Write accurate repair orders and customer estimates.
• Present repair recommendations and clearly explain vehicle service needs to customers.
• Order parts and coordinate repair timelines with technicians.
• Maintain an organized workflow from vehicle check-in through delivery.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and support shop performance goals.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure efficient repairs and timely vehicle delivery.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records using Tekmetric and other shop management software.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
• Experience working in an independent automotive repair shop is required.
• Experience writing repair orders and customer estimates.
• Experience using Tekmetric is a plus.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, computer, and phone skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and willingness to learn through coaching and ongoing professional development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually
• 2% Gross Profit Commission
• Earning Potential: Up to $100,000+ annually
