Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including those related to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging.
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing detailed explanations to ensure clarity and compassion.
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment meticulously, reporting any technical issues promptly.
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical record system.
  • Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.
Educational Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is desirable.
Certifications Required
  • Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
Necessary Skills
