Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our esteemed team of imaging professionals. In this pivotal role, you will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a dedicated group of clinicians, and bring reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including those related to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging.
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing detailed explanations to ensure clarity and compassion.
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment meticulously, reporting any technical issues promptly.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical record system.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is desirable.
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Exceptional technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Adept at functioning independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
