In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to a sanitary environment will directly impact the well‑being of our patients, clients, and staff. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and high‑performing team within a fast‑paced hospital setting. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces Provide laundry services to support hospital operations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital Handle trash and waste disposal in accordance with safety protocols Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed Report maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, lighting, or equipment to the appropriate personnel Follow hospital safety standards and OSHA guidelines for infection control and sanitation Use and maintain cleaning equipment including vacuums, mops, and floor care machines Adhere to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital’s Be EPIC core values Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work Ability to follow directions and complete tasks independently or as part of a team Strong attention to detail and time management skills Must be able to work safely and responsibly with cleaning equipment and products Preferred Qualifications Experience in a fast‑paced environment Familiarity with infection control and sanitation best practices Ability to operate and maintain floor buffers and carpet cleaners Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements This job is physically demanding and requires frequent standing, bending, and lifting Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Ability to safely use step stools and ladders when needed Must have sufficient mobility and stamina to work throughout the facility and grounds Why Choose Mount Laurel Animal Hospital Supportive Culture: Join a team that truly values compassion, collaboration, and community.
