EMT PositionApplicants must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentState of Michigan EMT licenseCPR and PHTLS or ITLS certified (PHTLS can be provided upon hire)Valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPhysically capable of meeting job requirements: lifting and moving patients, carrying medical equipmentAbility to pass a company-sponsored background check, drug screen, and physicalAbility to work professionally and cooperatively with a diverse range of peopleJob DutiesMaintain high clinical standards in all aspects of care.Safely drive and operate ambulances.Provide basic life support, including CPR, airway, suction, oxygen application, bleeding control, splinting, bandaging, etc.Provide convalescent care, including transporting sick, injured, and convalescent patients to and from medical facilities.Proficiently and safely perform patient handling, including stretcher operations, lifting, and loading.Treat patients with compassion and respect.Interact professionally and courteously with patients, family members, facility staff, and co-workers.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
