Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for experienced retail pharmacists to support a busy pharmacy with a high prescription volume averaging 1,400 scripts. The role involves delivering comprehensive pharmacy services within a retail setting, ensuring accurate medication verification, clinical review, and patient counseling to optimize health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Conduct thorough clinical reviews to ensure safe medication use
• Administer immunizations in accordance with protocols
• Provide patient counseling and education
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience
• Certification in immunization administration
• Proficiency with the Willow computer system is a plus

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (rotating shifts)
• Every 3rd to 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

This position is a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity to join a team currently comprising two pharmacists and ten technicians. Flexibility and reliability in scheduling are important to meet the needs of the pharmacy and patients served.
