Admissions NurseHSHS St. Mary's Hospital is seeking an Admissions Nurse. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. Obtains required pre-admission information for the patients. Testing may include history and physical, laboratory work, EKG, radiology, and other pertinent testing. Reviews results with appropriate physician/provider(s). May make pre- and post-visit calls to patients.Position Specifics:Department: Hospital undergoing $90M renovation. Preadmission RN making phone calls and organizing care before patients arrive at hospital for procedureSchedule: Full-Time Days 5x8 schedule (40 hours per week). Typical schedule 0730-1600 or 0800-1630. No weekends, call, or holidaysFacility: St. Mary's HospitalLocation: Decatur, ILSign On Bonus: $20,000Compensation: That aligns with experience + shift differentials on top of base rate!Education Qualifications:Associates degree in nursing is required.Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.Experience Qualifications:2 years staff RN experience is required.Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
