Registered Respiratory Therapist

Find your calling at Mercy! Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned. Position Details Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Respiratory Sign-On-Bonus incentive included up to $10,000. Location: 615 S New Ballas Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63141 Eligible for Shift Differential! Shift: 7 pm-7 am Requirements Graduate of a COArc approved Respiratory Care program. Meets state licensure requirements and holds a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For ER staff, PALS is required. Physical demands: push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, crawl minimally. Use of appropriate respiratory care devices. Preferred: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Preferred: Critical care experience.
