Job Description

As a Security Officer in Wauwatosa WI you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech media and telecom location as a Front Desk professional where you will welcome visitors manage access monitor activity from a stationary post and provide exceptional customer service and this people-first role you will help support a secure environment through teamwork integrity and a reliable caring approach that makes a strong first impression every day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location.
• Monitor visitor access at the front desk verify credentials issue badges or passes as directed and record arrivals and departures in visitor logs and/or electronic systems.
• Answer phones greet employees guests and vendors and communicate security-related information directions and site protocols in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and notify site contacts supervisors and/or emergency services as needed.
• Observe lobby and reception activity report unusual behavior and/or maintenance concerns and complete required reports and front desk documentation accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
