Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Dietitian I, you will help patients, families, and/or caregivers within the general patient population, including those with more complex levels of care, assess their nutritional status, implement targeted nutrition interventions, and receive customized education so they can improve their disease or condition management and enhance their overall health outcomes.

Every day you will perform nutritional assessments using age- and gender-appropriate standards, conduct routine screenings for nutritional risk, develop and implement intervention plans based on physicians' orders, and closely monitor patient progress. You will be expected to collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to facilitate patient care, contribute to improving the patient experience with the Food and Nutrition Services team, and participate in peer reviews and chart audits.

To be successful in this role you must possess a Bachelor's Degree with completion of an accredited dietetics program (ACEND), obtain valid registration as a Registered Dietitian (CDR) within three months of hire, and hold a State Licensure (such as AR, GA, etc.) as required. You will also need strong abilities to comprehend and follow instructions, maintain attention and concentration, synthesize and analyze data, manage workload effectively, communicate professionally, and exercise sound judgment in a dynamic clinical setting.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with completion of accredited dietetics program (ACEND - Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics).

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) must be obtained within 3 months of hire. Until registration is obtained, documentation in a patient's medical record must be signed off on by a dietitian that is registered and licensed (if applicable).
